• The essay must be an original composition written in Nepali language (preferably computer/mobile typed or written neatly and clearly in handwriting).

• All residents of Japan (Student, worker, dependent, etc.) are eligible to participate.

• Previous winners (first, second, and third place) from earlier series cannot participate.

• Essays submitted to other competitions cannot be resubmitted.

• Essays must be unpublished and unbroadcast. No publication or broadcast through other media is allowed until results are announced.

• For essays submitted to the NRNA CHIBA Essay Writing Competition, prior approval from NRNA CHIBA is required for publication or broadcast elsewhere after anthology publication.

• Essays must be a minimum of 1200 words and maximum 1500 words, otherwise they will be automatically disqualified.

• Essays written by AI and other digital platforms will be automatically disqualified.

• Participants must submit their essay along with a brief introduction, contact number, and recent photograph. (Essays without proper introduction will not be included in the competition).

• Essays that do not comply with the above terms and conditions will be automatically disqualified.
